The 4 Keys: Elements of Search EnginesOptimization (SEO)
1. URL- Your websites domain name should contain your chosen keyword and end in a .com. (e.g. jewelry.com assuming that your keyword was jewelry) The reason for the .com suffix is due to the psychological correlation between the internet and .COM
2. TITLE- Make sure your title is 6 to 12 words in length and contains the chosen keyword(s) at least 2-3 times. Title should be all in caps, due to the blue of the link drawing the eyes the more blue the better.
3. DESCRIPTION- (the black text under the blue link) 25 words or less using the keyword(s) as much as possible yet must make sense. Include an emotion appeal (e.g. “free” “discount” “low”) and end in a cliffhanger (e.g. “and…”)
4. LINKS- the tie breaker, your site should have at least 100 links
a. links should be relevant- meaning to a site with related content or focus
b. links should be active- must work and connect to a functional site.

I like all the methods except buying links – it’s unethical, to my mind:(
